Alison Highlander

Senior Vice President, Human Resources; Head of People Team

Alison leads HR strategy, talent development, and organizational culture initiatives. Before joining GRAIL, Alison served as Vice President of Human Resources at Silk Road Medical, where she was instrumental in shaping HR and business strategies that enhanced corporate performance and nurtured a culture of innovation. She played a key role in guiding the company through its acquisition by Boston Scientific.

Prior to Silk Road, she was Vice President of Human Resources at Roche Molecular Diagnostics. At Roche, she held positions in both the US and Switzerland where she developed and implemented global HR programs to attract and retain top talent. Earlier in her career, Alison held leadership roles at SRI International and its spin-offs, contributing to the development of emerging technologies and teams.

Alison holds a B.S. in Business Management from the University of the Pacific and an MBA in Finance from Santa Clara University.
