Margaret McCusker, MD, MS

Margaret McCusker, MD, MS provides medical and strategic oversight of GRAIL’s clinical development programs. Prior to joining GRAIL in 2021, Dr. McCusker worked in both clinical and real-world evidence programs at Flatiron Health, Roche Diagnostics, and Genentech. She began her professional career in public health, serving as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, followed by leadership roles with the California Department of Public Health’s Chronic Disease Surveillance and Research Branch. Dr. McCusker received both her MD and an MS in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
